If you are looking for an excellent caterer for your special event, look no more. Serves You Right did such an amazing job for our wedding this year that we recommend anyone looking for a serious caterer to use them. Not only was it easy to work with Marcie Wyss, but the food was delicious – juicy, fresh, warm and exquisite – not your average dry chicken or beef affair! Our guests enjoyed every last bite of our menu and could not stop complementing us on our choice of caterer.

Serves You Right is not about over selling you on things you do not need or hiding extra charges. It’s an honest affair. They were up front on all our costs and always gave their honest opinions on questions we might have had – which was always much appreciated. Marcie guided us along each step of the way. Their staff is professional, efficient and kind and our even ensued without incident. Even when our wedding party arrived an hour and a half late, Marcie came to the rescue suggesting we start serving champagne and hors d’oeuvres to the guests while everyone waited. She saved the day and calmed the mother of the bride along the way.

Since Noel is maitre d’hotel at Chez Panisse, our catering selection was an important one for our wedding. We had high expectations for our food, as well as the service, and Serves You Right met all of them. We thank them for making everything run so smoothly and making sure our wedding preceded without a hitch.

Hi guys...  It's me, Fred. I wanted to drop you a quick note.  Denise and I have been married for three (3) months now, and guess what???????  Friends ask how we're doing.  Before we can get anything out of our mouths, they immediately jump in to how GREAT the food was at our wedding (Most loved the spicy green beans... Can I have that recipe)?  So for me, this has been a long time coming.  You all did such an excellent job!  You know, sometimes you sacrifice quality for service, or vice-versa, but with Serves You Right.......  IT WAS ALL GREAT!!!!!

Matt did such a great job on the day we met him in the Brazilian Room.  We discussed the simplicity we were expecting in our menu selection, because of many children coming to our event, and just good ol' fashion American eating with a bit of "UUMMFFF."  Again...  GREAT JOB!!!!!!!  You more than exceeded our expectations.  The Service, The food, The coordination, The setup..... it was all great.  I've always said, a good wedding is when the rest of the world is transparent to the bride and groom, and they have no worries.  Well, we definitely had no worries in the "Catering Department."

I look forward to acquiring your warm friendly services again someday.

Dear Marcie, We are still receiving compliments on the wonderful reception for Carrie's wedding.  The room looked beautiful; the service was professional; and, oh the food, it was simply delicious!  I'm going to try to duplicate the sausage appetizer for our wedding "reception" here in Dallas over Christmas (I did say try). Marcie, I can't thank you enough for the GREAT job you and your team did at our wedding!

First, the food was EXCELLENT!  We received several compliments but the stand-outs were from my mother-in-law who said that you made the best chicken she had ever tasted in her entire life!  (and she makes chicken regularly).  Next, my friend Joel who has been in the restaurant business for several years and is a gourmet cook said that the gnocchi was incredible.  He said repeatedly that it's easy to overlook gnocchi and that the pesto and pine-nuts were superb.  My bride had never had gnocchi before and she loved it as well. 

I also greatly appreciated your staff's willingness to disassemble the cake and serve it.  You were flexible with accommodating my Mom's card table (it meant a lot to her to do the sign up book and table), you did our champagne toast and your team responded when we requested that someone circulate with a water pitcher.

Dear Marcie, Matt and the Serves You Right staff,

This is Jana Emery and Brett Ewart and we had our wedding at the Brazil Room last month  We wanted to thank you for the wonderful job you did on our wedding day! We did not have the chance to meet personally with you or sample food before our wedding day. However, we had already heard such good things about Serves You Right from all the wedding vendors we spoke with and had great assistance from Marcie over the phone.
We wanted to tell you how great the food and service was on the actual day of the event. We chose a pretty basic menu of chicken and rice, which turned out to be fantastic! (The chicken and the mushrooms were our favorites). We have had several of our guests comment on your food since the wedding and we’ve happily given referrals. Marcie, you did a wonderful job at helping to keep our itinerary on track that day. And your serving staff was very professional and personable.
Brett and I had the absolute best time getting married that day. Thanks so much for enhancing the day with your excellent food and help!
